Coping with Heat Stress

Plants grown under lights will often suffer with heat stress when temperatures in excess of 37 degrees C are consistently experienced.  The adverse result are flowers that fail to accept pollenation and a cessation of plant development, including shoot growth and both flower and fruit formation.

Evoponic is currently developing a new treatment which will help reduce or even eliminate the negative effects associated with heat stress.  This new treatment has been tentatively called “Liquid Ice” and we are currently looking for growers interested in testing this new concept and providing the company with valuable feedback prior to full marketing of this exciting new product.

If you would like to be involved in product development with Evoponic, then get in touch as we are recruiting experienced growers to help us with pre-market testing of several exciting new developments.
